So you want to make money?
You're in the right
place! Yes, where you are right now is a great place to sell this
product because it sells anywhere and everywhere!
Our product is advertising in the
form of magnetic car & truck signs. No, these are not the flat
signs, these are raised letter signs. See Take A Look on the
left. We've been making these signs since 1968. We constantly get
very good reactions when our customers see their signs. Other sign
companies cannot duplicate our signs. They are unique.
"But
I don't know anything about signs". No problem. We use a very simple
order form that anyone can fill out. We'll get into taking orders
later.
"But there are sign shops in my area! I looked in the
phone book!"
Yes, but I have news for you. We've sold our
signs ACROSS THE STREET from sign shops and down the street from
them many, many times. For example, we sold three pairs of signs to
a auto glass company directly across from a sign company. He
re-ordered and has since spent $2,000 with us as he added more
trucks.
People just don't get around to getting signs. They
know they need to but they put it off. The one that gets the order
is the one that goes after it!
Also, you might think
that people will just order from the Internet. They don't. There are lots of
websites selling magnetic signs but again they don't get around to
it, maybe because they are hesitant to order on their own. But
mainly, they don't even look on the Internet!
You'll
find that your customer will order two or three pairs of signs.
Don't forget the tailgates of pickups and back doors of vans. Two
pickups with tailgate signs is a three pair order! You'll see this
often.
Recently we approached a pickup in a builder's supply
parking lot. The guy had a contractor's trailer on the back. It
turns out he owns two companies. One is a concrete company and the
other is a auto repair shop. He ordered one and one half pairs for
each business. The concrete company has a stock logo and the auto
repair shop has a custom logo. The value of the order was $400.00.
It took fifteen or twenty minutes to write it up.
Concrete
$120.00 cost for one pair 12x25
60.00 cost for 1/2 pair (one sign)
15.00 three stock logos
$195.00 total
30% = $58.50 (your money)
Auto Repair
$120.00 cost for one pair 12x25
60.00 cost for 1/2 pair (one sign)
25.00 custom logo (gave him a break on the custom logo cost)
$205.00 total
30% = $61.50 (your money)
So, $58.50 and $61.50
= $120.00 (your money)
OR $78 + $82.00= $160.00 (40% if you qualify!)
How do you qualify for 40%? Write $500 in orders in a 7 day period.

BREAKING NEWS: Here's another one. This was also in a builder's
supply parking lot. I spoke to a handyman who is interested in
getting together next week. I wrote up a paver installer (driveways,
sidewalks, etc.) for 1-1/2 pairs of 12x25s ($120+60=$180) with two logos per sign
($30... total $210) and a plastering contractor for 1-1/2 pairs ($120+60=$180) with one
logo per sign ($15... total $195).
